District Governor Nominating. Committee - Chair Michael Ferris ([email protected]) The Nominating Committee for District Governor seeks out and reviews applications for the position of District Governor Nominee Designate (DGND - the DG position following the current District Governor Nominee). Excess Reserves Committee - Chair William J. Simpson ([email protected]) The Excess Reserves Committee manages a designated portion of District 5010’s overall financial resources and provides grants for specific projects that invest in building District 5010’s future in alignment with the current Strategic Plan. Finance Committee - Chair Cheryl Metiva ([email protected]) The Finance Committee exercises oversight and stewardship of all District financial affairs. It is a required committee. Foundation Committee - Chair Peggy Pollen ([email protected]) The role of the District 5010 Rotary Foundation Committee is to support the Rotary Foundation and its activities by assisting Rotarians in donating to The Rotary Foundation in a variety of ways. The Foundation Committee applies for and manages Rotary Foundation funding to District 5010. Grants Sub-Committee - Cathleen Lewis ([email protected]) The Grants Subcommittee of District 5010’s Foundation Committee review club grant applications, prioritizes them, approves funding of club and global grant applications, monitors funded grants and provides for closing out of all grants and of accounting to Rotary Foundation for monies received by District 5010. Membership Committee - Chair Lori Draper ([email protected]) The Membership Committee supports local club membership efforts and undertakes activities that generally grow membership in District 5010 clubs. Public Image Committee - Chair(s) Roseanne Roppel ([email protected]) & Michelle O'Brien ([email protected]) The Public Image Committee generates social media content and postings that help publicize Rotary and assist the general public in becoming more familiar with the service that District 5010 Rotarians provide locally, statewide, and around the world. Visioning Committee - Chair William Wright ([email protected]) The role of the District 5010 Visioning Committee is designed to help a Rotary club create its own vision and identify the steps necessary to achieve that vision.
