Preserving Alaska's History
Many of our pioneers and elders die each year, taking with them much of our important early history.  If we don't preserve their experiences and oral history now, while our pioneers and elders are still alive, then it's lost to future generations and historians.

In conjunction with state archives and building upon a pilot project of the Soldotna Rotary Club, we're now in the early stages of District 5010's long-term oral history collection project.  Interview those special pioneers and elders, maybe even yourself.  No special equipment or training is needed and we'll help you become part of Alaska's history.
