District Governor Joe Kashi is a trial lawyer in Soldotna.
He has been a member of the Soldotna Rotary Club since 1980 and twice president of that club. He and his spouse, Dr. Terese Kashi, are major donors to the Rotary Foundation.
Among other voluntary activities, he has been active in the American Bar Association and the Alaska Bar Association, primarily involving computer and networking technology, and also with a regional fine arts center.
Since 2009, he has had 20 solo fine art photography shows, mostly in university and college galleries. He received his BS and MS degrees from MIT in 1972/1973 and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1976.
