Rotary Friendship Exchange
Friendship Exchange – Interesting Opportunity in Africa

Warm greetings from Rotary District 9400 (Southern Africa)
District 9400 covers the following countries, Botswana, Swaziland, Mozambique and the following provinces in South Africa – Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga.

We are looking to do a Rotary Friendship Exchange in your area and will appreciate it if you can circulate this information to Rotarians of your district.
If your district is interested in having an exchange with our district, it will be my pleasure to complete the formalities.
Should you however be interested in a potential exchange for 2020, it will be appreciated if you can put me in touch with the Friendship Exchange co-ordinator in your district, so we can start with the planning of an enjoyable exchange.

There is considerable interest from our members in hosting and visiting your area, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours in Friendship Exchange
Amanda van Biljon

We at Rotary Club of Mumbai Divas, propose to improve the facilities by having a center for DIALYSIS at Brahmakumari’s Global Hospital and Research Center (BSES MG) Hospital, Andheri, Mumbai, India. Please find enclosed herewith the PowerPoint presentation detailing the background, need and impact of the project proposed by us along with budget.

The District 3292 Conference will be in Butwal, Nepal, from February 22 to February 24, 2019.  You can get to Kathmandu on Alaska Airlines miles on Korean Air.

A number of District 5010 Clubs have been involved in projects with Nepali Clubs over the past 20 years.  Interest has been expressed in the past about going to Nepal.  This is a great opportunity to travel to Nepal and meet Nepali Rotarians.

My name is Christtel and I am supporting district team fellow rotarian Carlo Palmese in to raising awareness in the clubs of our District 4250 (Belize, Guatemala and Honduras), regarding solid waste management (plastic pollution) which is affecting not only our district but the world as a whole. Carlo and I have put together a presentation which has now been shared to all of the clubs in our district, to encourage them to work on projects towards managing this issue. To help the clubs, we are also working on the grant format to make it easier for them to work on a proposal for the Rotary Foundation, and submit a project in the Growing Local Economies area of focus.
