The Leadership Academy is an advanced educational program for those interested in learning more about Rotary, whether looking to participate in future leadership positions or to find more effective ways to conduct Rotary work --- within clubs or in District Rotary service.

It is time to apply for the 2016-17 Leadership Academy.  Learn more about Rotary beyond your club and ways to help your club become even better! All Rotarians are welcome and everyone learns something new whether a 1 year or a 30 year Rotarian.

There are some great changes and additions to this year’s schedule.

We use an E-learning platform so all learning is fully online.

Timeline:

• August 1, 2016 – final date to apply and pay $130.
• September:   Rotary’s Sources and Leadership: How to find Information to best lead Clubs
• October:       Membership – To grow a strong Rotary Club
• November:  Public Image For Effective Rotary Clubs
• December:   Catch up month
• January:       Youth Services – Interact, Rotaract, Youth Exchange, RYLA and others
• February:     Structure and Organization - Club, District and the world of Rotary International
• March/April:The Rotary Foundation – Grant applications and MORE
• May:              Receive your very own Leadership vest, pin and recognition at District Conference!

 An average of 10 hours of reading and discussion per month concluding with an online test.

Our new eLearning system also has separate leadership online courses available to everyone.
